Our Taiwan Holiday - June 2017

Our trip to Taiwan started at the beginning of the June holiday. We went there for 10 days. Our 1st time experience the super heavy rain in Taiwan. The whole Taiwan has been raining non-stop for 3-4 days.The rain started when we started our journey to Cinjing farm. On the way there,we stopped at Sun Moon Lake (日月潭 )but too bad the rain and wind started here. We not able to walk down to our destination.We sat in the café for a drink hope that the rain will stop. Too bad the rain did not stop.
We drove up the mountain to cinjing farm. The mountain road was very scary especially during this rainy weather. We drove really slow and finally we reach the ming su.

We missed out a few places because of the rain.We did not go to the cinjing farm (a must go when you are at cinjing) .We can only stay in and watched tv programme. Lucky for us, on the last day at ming su the rain finally stop and we were able to take a good look at the beautiful scenery.From there we drove to Taichung.We stayed there for only one nite.From Taichung,we took the bullet train to Taipei. At Taipei we finally got to see Mr Sunshine but it was too scorching.At Taipei,we went to 十分瀑布,九份老街,淡水老街,阳明山国家公园 etc.A lot of walking and climbing for this trip.My poor legs seem going to break.

Overall for this trip: we had a 有惊无险 experience. We not sure walked and climbed  how many millions steps to view the fantastic and stunning scenery. It was all worth it (although my leg is breaking) and we are home safety.

Our 1st Road trip to Perth after her PSLE (2016) last year. We went there for 8 days.We had farm stay during the trip and it was our 1st experience staying at a farm.The longest drive to our destination was a 3hr trip to Lobster Shack for lunch.Obviously we were having lobster for our lunch.It worth the 3hr drove.Another stunning experience for us were entering a cave. A lake cave at Margaret River.This was an unforgettable experience. Different formation of limestones. Perth had really beautiful scenery.Wish that we are able to go back again to explore more places.

SA1 2017

Her 1st Mid-year exam (SA1) had over and result had came out. I could say that she did quite well.There are a few subjects she did well (A1).The only subject that did not do well is her art. I don't blame her as all along (since primary school) her art & craft is not very well done.Now in secondary school art is so different from what I had when I was in secondary school.

Last nite,her physic teacher text them in the group chat for their overall result and she was in the Top 10 position (she is in 6th position) and she had A1.I can proudly say that she so far so good and did better than in primary school.Although I know that I cannot compare primary and secondary level. I said better doesn't mean she done badly in primary school. Her primary school results are above average or even better than above average from P1 to P5 .She had received awards in school and outside school. Until she go to P6,her result started to drop abit .Although I am not very satisfied with her PSLE, I wish that she can do very well in secondary school. Received more medals and awards.

This is only the beginning of her secondary school life and there are still 3 more years to go and I know is too early to judge how well she is doing but I wish she can continue her hardwork. I know is not an easy task but try your very best. I very sure you can do it because you are a smart girl.

Mid-Year Exam

Today is her 1st Mid-Year Exam. her 1st paper started today which is chinese paper 1.

Although is mid-year exam ,I don't really feel the stress like what I have when she is in primary school.I think this type of feeling should be a good one so that I won't give her any stress or pressure. No stress and pressure from me meaning that she will do well.

Since she entered secondary one, I don't really stress her on her studies. I don't know why. Maybe I had been doing for the past 6 years or maybe I'm getting lazy or maybe I'm getting old Hahahaha......
Whenever she has chinese test (in fact she has test almost every week), I did not even revise with her.Sometimes only let her do assesment book,mark and go through,that's all.Marks for her tests,so far so good.A few of the subjects she even top in class.Recently there was a chinese test on email writing ,she told me she is the highest in class and teacher put up on the transparency to let the class see. I'm so proud of her. Another subject is Food & Nutrient,teacher gave her a lollipo for the top 3 in class.

I really hope that she can continue to keep up the good work. Next year is an important year. If result is good,she will have more subjects choices to choose for her sec 3.

Cuteness

Recently Facebook have been popping up some photos of Val when she was small which I posted a few years back. It gave me memory of her when she is before 7 years old as she looked so so cute at that age.Her yi yi missed her cuteness hahaha..... Mummy missed it too. She really have the cuteness and sweetly pie look.

Children really grown up too fast until I don't even able to catch up with her growing. Now she already a teenager and in no time she is an adult and get married OH My God! Why is times seem like flying. Can time please slow down? Mummy and Daddy will be old if you become and adult.

Last night (28/2) she told us a few of her test marks and I told her she done well and keep up the good job. And I wanted to reward her so I asked her what she want? She told me she wanted to have a CUP of gong cha ("Fainted")Hahahaha.... You must have many question marks above you head why did she requested this instead of other things? Because I don't let her drink those sweet drink.

I found that I have very little quality time with her since she entered secondary school and also because I worked in the half day afternoon instead of morning. I will find time with her when holiday started.

School Life

It had been nearly 2 months after school started.She adapted her secondary school life very well and she enjoyed it so far. She had been participated in her school west zone-C division girls table tennis competition.This is her 1st ever competition and she perform well.She is playing double and won 6 matches to the other school.Her school came in 5th position.Medals only awarded to 1st-4th position. Well Done!

She had been going through many common tests since January and she done well too (except Bio). She had make pizzas and shepard pie during her Food & Nutrition. She had given up the opportunity of going into the Higher Mother Tongue class. I let her make the decision herself after telling her all the good and bad points.I hope that she will not regret making this decision when she is taking her O level.

We only given her Maths and English tuition till now.I hope that we no need to add on any subjects for her.CCA is the things that she enjoyed the most in school and she wish that she can have an understanding perform in table tennis.She want to take part in all the competition and win many medals.Wish her wish come true.

2017 - 1st Day of Her Secondary School Life

Today is her 1st day of Secondary School.

This mornig she woke up a bit early than her usual time when she was in Primary school.As today is the 1st day of school,Daddy said have to go out early to prevent traffic jam and also to time the timing . They reached school at 7am so it was consider early as school start at 7.25am.

This whole week is the Sec 1 orientation camp.There are activities for them so school will end at 4pm (today) and 5pm.I'm worried that she can't get use to her secondary school life.Of course the timing is different from primary school.She may stay up to 6.30pm (estimated) on certain day for her CCA.It will be a long day in school.It will be quite tiring for her too as she has to travel about half and hour journey.

After all,I hope that she enjoy her school life as what she did in primary school and wish that she can done well in the 4 year of secondary school.Wish her all the best in her study

Released of PSLE Result 2016

It's OUT yesterday (24/11). We reach the school at 10.45am. The principle given talks follow by the released of the results.Results is given out according to class.

When received and known about it,my feeling for the outcome is not very satisfied and felt sad.My expectations for her is 3A and 1B but I never expect that one of her subject she got X for it.And this make her T-score lower.If she had a better grade for this subject ,she may have a better T-score.She really can do better than this.I doubt that she must be feeling nervous during the exam time which can't see and don't even know .During that period,only she knows herself best.She might feel nervous or she had not enough time for the paper,who's know.(i told her many time take it as a normal school exam so that she won't feel nervous) I'm glad that she no need to choose between Normal /Express if not that will be another headache thing to decide.

My wish for her is that she can continue her hard work after entering secondary school.Secondary school life will be totally different from primary school.It will be another not easy task.Subjects will be double of what she had in primary school.Studying is already not easy ,some more have to sit for exam.Like what some people say some perform not good for the PSLE but they did very well in their secondary school exam especially for the O level.I hope that she is this type of student.

Last Day of PSLE

Today is the last paper which is Science (04 Oct)

I have confident with her and hope that she has confident too.When she came back from school after exam ,I will always ask her this question,how is the paper today? She told me she has confident for section A of the paper.Section B abit difficult.There are 2 questions she not sure how to do .

Wish that really 2 questions she don't know how to do hahaha.

After today ,I can sleep well and she can enjoy herself for all the hard work she put in for the past 8 mths.I will be bringing her out for lunch after she came back from exam.

Marking day will start from the 17th Oct and results will release tentatively from 24th Nov to 28th Nov.I can't imagine when collecting the result from school,what will be my feeling like?Will I cried out if .........will I shout out loud if.........

Third Paper-Chinese

Today is Chinese Paper.

I already tried my very best to revise with her.Last Friday and over the weekend ,I had spent time revising with her.But I still find that my time is not enough for her and I wish that I have 48hrs in a day.This is not a last minutes revision of course.

My wish for chinese is A* but is not an easy task to aim.Really have to score well for compo,LC and oral.But her compo is not very well written and it will deduct marks if content is not good.Another hope is to do well for paper 2 so as to pull up the marks.She has to do well before the open ended comprehension questions.What do I mean to do well ? Meaning that she cannot make any mistakes for MCQ questions(OAS) (the most 2 mistake).

Wish her all the best of the chinese paper.

Maths Paper

Maths Paper today.

Sleepless Nite again.Hope that she won't be careless when doing the questions. Sometimes she read the question one time and being to do and find that she can't solve the question.After reading the question for the 2nd time then she know how to do.This mean that not that she don't know how to do but have to read the question 2-3 times to understand.Hope she won't be doing this during exam.If not will be very yuan wang.

Don't spend too much time on that question after trying to solve for 2 times.Go to the next question but must remember to go back that question .Not much time left and that question still have no answer (for OAS) shade any answer better than left it blank.Don't lose marks unnecessary.These are what we told her.

All the best for her Maths Paper.She can do well for Maths and I have confident with her.

1st Day of PSLE 2016

Today is her 1st day of PSLE English paper.

I did not sleep well last nite.I felt worry,stress and anxious. Worry that don't know will she do well,will she know how to do.Stress that don't know will she be nervous at the exam hall ,will her mind blank out.I hope all these will not happen to her.I believe that she can do well with all our encouragement to her.And also my little surprise for her.Hope that all these can destress her and make her happy.

Her English is not good but we hope that she can have a B which we will be satisfy.We know well about her standard so B is good for English.As for the other 3 subjects,hope that she can have As.Maths and Science is her strong one as long as she don't make careless mistake.This is very important.

1st paper has ended.Tomorrow is Maths paper follow by Chinese and Science.Time fly by very fast.She already work so hard for the past months,left only a few more days.Endure with it,my dear.Very soon,will see your effort pay off.Concentrate on your Maths paper tomorrow.You can do well,try your very best.

Universal Studios 2016

Our 3rd time going to USS.It's March school holidays.We tried all the new rides except the Sesame Street ride.The Transformer and Puss in Boots are new rides.The transformer ride is the most exciting and scary ride.Although is our 3rd times there,we still enjoyed ourselves.

Yeah...She is 12th

She is 12 years old this year. Look at her she change so much.From a toddler to a little young girl. The photos are from year 2008-2015. You can see from left hand corner the little cheeky girl.
And tomorrow she is going to celebrate her 12th birthday.No "big" celebration this year as requested by her.We had family dinner with yiyi and ah mah on Saturday and another dinner with ah gong on sunday.
We will have a mini bbq dinner at home with a birthday cake tomorrow evening.Looking at her everyday,growing so fast each day.Sometimes I found that she has grow too fast that I can't even capture every moments of her.Yes she make mummy angry by not listening to me.I scolded her sometimes even shout at her.
I wish we still can be in this great relationship as a mother & daughter & friends even she go to secondary school .Sometimes I may tease her will she still hold my hands when she grow up,her reply is YES. Wish her healthy and happy everyday.

Work...work...work...

Working for others is so sianzzzz.If only I can be my own boss,that would be GRATE.Working for other may earn more than being a boss.Being a boss can do things that you want to,things that you are interested in,thing that you enjoy doing it.

It's will be grate if I can do baking at home and sell to others.These are the things that I enjoy doing and is also my interest and hobby.Although my income will be lesser than what I earn now.

When will this dream come true?
