Practical Result is out

Her grade 3 piano result is out. I'm not very pleased with her result as she only has a pass which is 116.To get a merit,at least must have a 120.Her teacher also expect her to have a merit.Anyway,we have to see the remarks which the examiner gave her so that we know where go wrong.

Her 1st Rock Climbing Experience

Yeah...school holidays started from this week.Yesterday is teacher's day celebration in school.School ended at 12pm.Today is teacher's day,no school.
Had promises her to bring her to rock climbing after her exam and I keep my promises.I found this place at snowcity,just outside snowcity.Daddy took a day leave to bring her there.A bonding day with daddy.They seldom go out together so today is a good opportunity for them.

After that,they came to fetch mummy from my work place.We went for dinner. I can tell that she abit tired after the rock climbing.I never expect that she can accomplish the task by climbing to the top.A very good job and well done.She enjoyed herself so much.She request to go again during the December holiday.

Morning they still have a game of badminton before going for lunch.What a fruitful day!

Buiness Trip

Daddy is back from his business trip from Korea.He bought back lots of tibits from korea and also loots that he bought from us.
I asked him to buy a lipgloss, a foot cream , box of brownie from Market O and an umbrella.He know the way and know how to take MRT in korea.We can plan to go for our family trip the next time.

Exam

Asking her to practice her piano last nite as her exam is on this coming Wednesday.And yet she told me she don't know how to play one of the song. At this moment she can tell me that she DON'T KNOW how to play.She has been practicing for so many months already. I was very very angry when I heard that.I was so firey.I make her practice again and again until she know how to play again.
Of course she keep crying.No point crying.If she can tell me she has forgotten how to play,all the time and effort have wasted all these months.At last,we text her teacher and she talk to her and she ask me to send her video of her practicing so she can amend her if there is any.I'm so great that her teacher can help her.She is a good teacher.

Tomorrow will be her exam and I really hope that she can pass well and don't feel nervous like the previous time when she taking her grade 2 exam.I will be bringing her as daddy is travelling.

Grade 3 practical exam coming real soon. Practice hard for it.Wishing her to score very well for her exam.

Baking Day

Val did not go to student care today.She will be staying at home doing baking.Today is our baking day.She will bake a chocolate Gâteau au Chocolat for her daddy birthday.Today will be her first time baking all by herself.Of course I will be assisting beside her.This will be a surprise for daddy. I bake some almond cookies too.Very yummy cookies.

 She crack the eggs,separate the egg white and York but did not do well.I have to help her.Melt the chocolate.whisk the egg white.She complain that her hand tired.Pour out the batter and send in to the oven.I ask her to "look after" the cake if not it will get burnt. She use a stick to test whether the cake is ready.I did not help her I only give instructions to her and she do herself.

This is the cake that she bake.I help her to decorate the cake using icing sugar and wrap the cake using ribbon.What a nice and beautiful and yummy cake.

Happy birthday,Daddy. There is a small present for him too.She hand made herself.



Our Family Staycation at Hard Rock Hotel Sentosa

We had so much FUN.Although is a staycation at sentosa,we are enjoying every activities that we go to.Our 1st experience at adventure cove with lots of enjoyments. We passby the aquarium which allow us to see the fishes and many stingrays.Seem like we are swimming together with the fishes.We spent a few hours there.We had a very late lunch after that and late dinner too.
The next day after check-out,we went to sentosa.We take the Luge and skyride 3 times per person.To me,the skyride is "horrible",legs hanging in the air without any support.If I am comparing the one in NZ ,I think this is nothing.HahahahaThe ine in NZ is alots more fun than this.The luge distance is longer.
Anyway,is another new experience for Val.

June Holidays Outings

Have FUN at National museum and Asia Civiliasation Museum. June holidays started.We visited the museums again .Intend to visit Art and National museum but end up visit the Asia civiliasation.Lots of children activities and craft works to do. We spent a few hours at the museums.Mummy's legs are tired. After our dinner,we continued our journey to Red Dot Museum which had a flea market .After this ,we continued our shopping. We reached home at 9 plus and i'm exhausted.

Adventure Camp 2014

She is back from her adventure camp last nite. We reached the school at 10pm ,and we already saw so many parents waiting outside gate 2.At around 10.15pm,school bus started to reach school.All students had to assembly at the canteen.We ,parents walked to the canteen to fetch their children.

She looked so tired.After bath,she went straight to the bed and sleep.Woke up early for the past 2 days and having outdoor activities for the whole day.At nite,weather is hot ,only ceiling fan in the room.Some students could not get to sleep.

Overall,she enjoyed herself at the camp and she love it.Only P4 students have camping experience in their primary school life.

June Holidays

June holidays is around the corner.Looking forward to this holidays as there will be some activities awaiting for her. The 1st activities will be her school adventure camp. Although is a 1D1N camp ,she is looking forward to this day.
This coming Wednesday will be the parent meeting with teachers. This mid-year exam she is doing well,I'm quite satisfied with her result as compare to her CA1.But she can do very well for this SA1.Why do I say that? She has no time to check her maths paper,no time for her to change the wrong answers if not she can have more than what she get.Anyway is over,work harder for the year end.
Other activites will be the hotel staycation,yakult factory(brought by student care) this is her 1st factory visit.We will also be going out to museum or garden by the bays (not yet confirm)
Don't forget to do assessment and practice hard for the coming grade 2 piano exam.After she pass this exam,she will be in grade 3.

Adventure Camp For P4 students

Exam finally ended last Friday.There will be a parents meeting with teachers on 28th May. The following day will be the start of the adventure camp.This is a 1D1N camp for P4 students. She is looking forward to her 1st camp experience without mummy and daddy around.She will be sleeping by herself,in fact doing everything by herself or as a team. No comfortable bed for her,she has to sleep in the sleeping bag.No TV programmes for her but many outdoor activities for her.
I hope she will enjoy herself and learnt what she has learn during this one day camp.I'm sure there will be many exciting programmes to develop the pupils leadership and teambuilding skills and also self confidence.I am sure these are the important things for them to learnt.
Initial,i'm quite worry that whether she can adapt but i'm hope she can and love it.

A Pleasant Surprise

I was in the kitchen cooking tonite dinner.She came in and check with me when is Mother's Day.I told her it is on Sunday and I remind her again not to buy anything for me. She reply "OK".
After awhile,I came out of the kitchen and saw something on the table. I was shock and surprise too.A hand made card made by her to mummy. Some more she use scotch tape to stick on my bag hahaha....
At that very moment,I'm feel so blessed and touched by her act.Thank You my dear Val

Play ground @Garden by the bay

Yesterday is the last day of March school holidays.After her piano performance,suppose to go out straight but the time is still early.We went back home to have a rest first.We went out again around evening time.There was a new playground in the garden.Let her enjoyed herself as I did not brought her out during this holidays.Not a bad playground.There was also a wet area.
We went to satay by the bay to have our dinner.

Children Wonderland

Today is her last test paper so I decided to bring her out to relax herself.The playground at Westgate has finally open so we are there today.Although the time is already 5pm,the sun is shining high up in the sky.I have to find myself a shady place to hide.
