Holidays Beings Here

Today is the last day of school.School function from 7.30am to 10.30am.Today is also a day to eat with your family day.School encourage the students to have a meal with their families

During school holiday, she has to revise her work,read story books,do assessment books and E-Learning.Of course there will be playtime for her as well.But she has to finish her works before enjoying herself.

And she has promised me to work even harder for the next 2 terms if not she can only stay at home when holidays arrive.There will be 2 test coming up on August and maybe October before the holidays.Really hope that she will meet standard that I set for her.Her teacher says she is from Ban 1 not 2.

Marks

Should I be happy or satisfied with her results?I also not very sure should I .Her marks is not very high or low.Just not up to my standard marks that I want her to get.

Have to wait for next wednesday parent meeting with the teachers then from there we will know her overall marks for that subject.Beside the written paper,there are also oral ,reading aloud, listening comprehension and show & tell which we did not know the marks yet.Hope that with all these can add up to a marks that satisfied me.

Hope that the year-end test will show improvement.

Eat With Your Family day

Next Friday (25/05) is eat with your family day.It's also the last day of school.School holidays being here.
This is a day to encourage families to have a meal together.Its act as a starting point for families to commit to have a meal together on a regular if not basis.I think is a good practice to have a meal together with with our family.
For myself,we have meal together everyday.

Mini Party

Today her class has a mini party for them.Just for class 2K.As they show improvement in her Maths so their form teacher suggested to have a party for them.They are allowed to bring some snacks to school today to share among their classmates.They will start their party during recess times.Instead of going for their break,they will stay in class.
She bought a packet of chips and cookies for her class.

2nd Lesson For Swimming

After her 1st lesson of swimming,she came back from school and told us about her swim.She told us that the coach shout at her and she did not like the coach.She said the coach fiercer than mummy hahaha.....She told us she enjoyed the swim so much.
The coach ask them to go into the water to pick up the watch that he throw into.The coach hold her hand to help her to go into the water,when she reach the bottom of the water the coach let go and she had to pick up the watch and swim out of the water herself.Only 2 lesson and she learnt so many things.
I hope she really can swim by herself when the whole lesson end.

Pound Cake

Just bake this pound cake.Piping hot from the oven.I have been thinking of baking pound cake for so long but did not started.Staying at home,feel bore so decided to bring out my oven and mixer and start to bake.

Taste great and super soft inside.Will bake again...maybe for mother's day.One for my mum and one for myself.
