Baked Rice

What is she eating for her dinner.It's baked rice baked by mummy.So yummy.....This is my 1st time trying this and it's turn out to be so good which I myself also can't believe it.This is a good try.So proud of myself.Never think that I can do it so well.Hahahaha.......

It's Play Time

Tomorrow I will be bringing her out.Where are we going?Let's visit the museum.Going to bring her to the Art Museum.No going to student care tomorrow.Next Friday,I am going to bring her to Universal Studios again.Yes,this is our 2nd time there.Next Monday we are going to the airport.What will we be doing there?Look out ofr my posting.
Actually this holidays we did not really bring her anywhere.Wanted to arrange an outings with her friends but one of them not able to make it.So sad!I hope she will enjoy herself tomorrow,next monday & Friday.After next Friday,holidays will be ended.

Piano

Have to get her one very soon.Because the song that she learn start to have pendal to step on it.The purpose of stepping the pendal is to let the sound go on even you are not playing on the piano.
Piano is so expensive if we want to have a good one.It's also have to depend on the brand that we are sourcing for.Look out for piano warehouse sales or anyone want to sponsor one for Val?If there is someone really want to sponsor that will be good.My piano budget won't be those $8k-$9k,just around $5k can already,wahahaha.....

Dental Visits

Today bring her to visit the dentist at her school at 2.30pm.This is her 1st visit.I take a half day off as student care not enable to bring her there.She waited inside the dental clinic while I waited outside.She waited for quite a while before her turn.I waited outside the clinic for her until I nearly fall asleep,hahaha...Finally her turn and she finished it fast,about 10 minutes.Others took longer than that.The nurse open the door and told me that she has a very good teeth.No problem for her teeth except that when she brushing her back teeth she has to pay more attention meaning that she has to brush probably as this is a adult teeth.(mean that this teeth is permanent teeth)The nurse ask her to continue to brush twice a day.
The nurse gave her a set of toothbrush,tooth paste and a calender which other children don't have.I find it funny why is it that she is the only one has it.She is always so special.

Tuesday and Wednesday

They went to play badminton at the community centre nearby.Some brought the rackets along with them but some of them did not.But never mind they will share among themselves.They take turn to play.She told me each play 5 times.
Wednesday (08/06) will be going to watch movies at Lot 1.They will be watching the Kungfu Panda.Hope she will enjoying watching with her student care friends.This is her 1st time watching together with them.

Ear Piercing

Ear piercing is a must have things for all girls.And now she has it.We were at orchard last evening and walk the shop so I went in to check the price.While checking I ask her again whether she want to do it now.After much consideration,she nodded her head.And here we go ,the lady clean her ear before piercing.At first,she still relaxing siting on the chair.When the lady take out the tools and ear ring then she start to scare.She hold my hands so tight.I also dare not see when they are doing it.There are 2 lady doing at one time.It take a few seconds to complete the whole process.
After we walk out of the shop,she still hold to my hands.She so scare that people will knock onto her.I told her I can give her all my ear rings.She keep smiling :)

Vanilla Suagr Cookies

Love it!Bake these vanilla sugar cookies specially for daddy.On the 3rd round of baking,he suggested to put some rasins and choco chips.And it turn out to be great.Tumbs up!

Who She Met?

This evening,after we came out of the student care centre we met her child care principle,Mrs Tan.We did not have the chance to chat as she is on the phone so we just say hello to each others.
We took bus number 920 home and on the bus we met her child care speech and drama teacher.In just less than half an hour time,we met 2 familiar faces.Such a coincidence.

Daddy is Tested!

On our way home inside the car,she tested daddy on hanyupin ying.Why is it that she tested daddy?Because Mummy told daddy something and he said he alrready know about it.Daddy say that everything he also know.So she tested daddy on hanyu pin ying which he not very good at it. wahahaha.....

Here she goes..... how to pin "butterfly" in hanyu pin ying? Daddy said (hú dié) then she turn her head to me and ask me whether is it correct.I nodded my head. Then she asked daddy to put diào hào on the words.And he get it right.Hahahaha....

Mother's Birthday Celebration

We have a early celebrations for Mum's birthday.We have our dinner at Vivo City.Nice food,nice senic view.After dinner,we take a walk at the boardwalk.It's a new chill out place.There are a few restaurant and cafes.I love this place.We also have ice cream for deserts.

Teacher-Parent-Meeting-2nd Quater 2011

Another round of Parent Meeting with the teachers.Our appointment with the Mrs chong is at 3pm.We met the chinese teacher,Mdm Zhang first who is at the hall.Comments from mdm Zhang

• Careless


• Done her work fast but did not check through.Too confident in herself.


• After finish her work,walk around,want to help others,talk to teacher.


• When reading,loud and clear.


• Things that Mdm Zhang not yet teach,she already knows.

Next semester,there will be streaming.Pupils will stream according to their result in SA1.According to her chinese teacher,she will most probably go to the 2nd class.Mdm Zhang told us that this year the chinese standard has drop.The highest in her class for overall is 98.

Comments from Mrs Chong (Form teacher)

• must drill on her maths.Especially those questions that not on textbook.Mrs Chong also disappointed in her Maths paper 2.She can do better.

I feedback to her teacher that she sometimes scared of her.When sometimes teacher not in class,chairman of the class will take care of it.There is one time that the chairman write her name on the whiteboard but she did not talk.Normally she will rest on the desk or take out her story book to read.Mrs Chong say that the boy is those revenge type.Maybe previous time she write his name on the whiteboard also.Mrs Chong knows that her "pattern"she is not those that will talk in class.There is also one time that she miss out one of her homework then Mrs Chong ask her to go back and finish it.So maybe because of these 2 things she scare of Mrs Chong.

Other than that she has no problem in her works.Mrs Chong comments that she is a smart girl and some more she has us support her in her work.She is at the right path.I feel proud when heard such a good comments about her.We,parents put in hard works so is she.

Keep up all your good work.Contiune to work hard and also play hard.

Schhol Holidays

School holidays being this Friday.Will there be any activities for her this June holidays?Mummy not very satisfied with her marks.She make mistakes that should not be make.Student care teacher also disappointed with her Maths result.I very very disappointed with her chinese result.The front few pages of the test she done so well,all full marks but when come to the last page she make 3 BIG mistakes.The last page is on 数笔划 and she can count wrong.Some more those words I had given her during home revision.All the words that in the test paper I had already revise with her.Some more make 3 mistakes.Do you think I should angry with her?一份耕耘,一份收获 this is what I always tell her.If you don't work hard,you will not have good results.When you have good results,don't you feel proud of herself,don't she feel happy with the results that she has.After all the hard work then you can play hard.
