Our Short Trip to Malacca-Day 1

Another school holidays being.We planned a short trip to Malacca.This is our 1st time travel to Malacca.It is a 3days 2 nite trip but we are looking forward to it.

Weather is very very hot at Malacca.We are lucky that it only rain when we are coming back.Food at Malacca is not bad but shopping is not so good compare to KL.I still prefer shopping at KL.Their shopping centre is boring.Not much things to buy.

1st day of the trip,we went to The Baba Nyonya Heritage Museum,Christ Church,Stadhuys and Jonker Street.We had our lunhc at Kedai Kopi Chung Wah for chicken rice and dinner at one of the shop call jonker 88 at Jonker Street.This shop selling noodles with all sorts of yong tau foo.You can have dry,soup,laksa,curry or asam laksa.

After all,is a new experience for us exploring Malacca.

Award Ceremony 2011

Today is Zhenghua Primary award ceremony 2011.The ceremony started at 1pm.We arrived at 12.30pm and the hall already crowded.No choice but to sit at the 4th row.When is her turn,I walk up to the front to take pictures.I feel so proud of her when she was on stage to received her certificate from the principle.

Her Dream Come True

Daniel and one of her other classmate was selected to be a prefect in Primary 2.Who is the 3rd person ?Make a guess,mummy? Before I guess who the person,she already tell me the answer that is she herself,Valery.She feel so happy that teacher selected her as prefect.

Before that she already wanted to be a prefect.She keep telling me that hope her teacher will choose her as a prefect and now her dream come true.

To be a prefect,you got to have good performance in class.Good performance include good result and good character.Continue to work harder to achieve good result.I ask her whether she wants to be model pupil again next year,she say YES.She ask me does she have to achieve Ban 1 in all her subjects.Of course that would be good if she can .

I tell her she has to do assesment books and listen to daddy when he revise with her.She agree with me and promiss me that she will do it.Hope that she really keep up her good work next year.Although this is 激将法 but is for her own good.If she really can have good result in P2,why not?

Model Pupil Award 2011

She is selected by her form teacher to be the Model Pupil 2011.She was awarded the certificate today in school.She has to wear the uniform instead of PE T-shirt.Has to tie her hair neatly.
She felt nervous before going up the stage.

Well Done!

Busy!!

Daddy working late again this week.He won't be able to come back for dinner as he will be doing testing again.I still will be cooking,don't like to eat outside food everyday.Prefered home cooked food.
Hope he can take leave on thursday to attend an important event.

Bells are Ringing

Happy News

She was so happy when I fetch her last evening.There were 2 happy news that she wanted to tell me.1st news was that her form teacher,Mrs Chong is back to school.Mrs Chong was on MC for 2 weeks.She miss her so much.She even make a card for her.She is sweet.She gave the card to her yesterday.There were 3 other students gave their cards to Mrs Chong too.

2nd news was Mrs Chong told them who were the top 10 in class and those on top 5 will have a present.(not sure is it from school or her teacher)She told me that she is 3rd in class.Of course,I am very happy for her.

I ask her is she happy? She say YES.I tell her that she has good result because she worked hard.Daddy and Mummy are happy.She can enjoy herself throughout the holiday.
I also tell her that she has to work even harder in P2,P3,P4,P5 & P6 to achieve good result if not how is she going to be a air stewardess hahahaha...This is to motivate her to work hard.

Home Activities

No outdoor activities today.But we have other indoor activities carry out today.That is baking at home.I bake chocolate cupcakes and she is my helper.She likes to help me in the kitchen especially when I am baking cakes.This is one of the bonding between me and her.I also cook cheng teng yesterday as a desert.
After baking follow by cooking dinner in the evening.I had a busy day yesterday but I felt happy because I enjoyed the things that I do.

Walk...Watch...Play

Nice weather.Take a stroll in the park.Monkeys ,birds,greenery and new facilities.
It's good to bring her out to the park after test.Running about in the park,make her happy.

We went for dinner at Nex with brother and sister in laws.
